I am a former groom, exercise rider, as well as a trainer for thoroughbred and arabian racehorses. This experience allows me the ability to work with horses of all dispositions. I am an American Farriers Association certified farrier and have been shoeing for 10 years. You can trust that all of the work I provide will not only meet, but exceed your expectations. I have shod racehorses, dressage horses, polo horses, cutting horses, roping horses, reining horses, pleasure horses, draft horses, and ponies. Also, if your horse is somewhat difficult, I am confident that with my patients, shoeing or trimming will be accomplished.

Hot Shoeing
Process: After the horse is trimmed, the shoe is heated and shaped.
As the shoe cools slightly, we apply the hot shoe to the hoof to
allow perfect hoof to wall contact. This shoeing method helps to
prevent thrown shoes. This cannot be done to every horse. Cold Shoeing
Process: After the horse is trimmed, the shoe is shaped hot and
nailed to the hoof without being burned on. Therapeutic
Shoeing
Any type of corrective shoeing, whether it be bar shoes, equilox,
equibuild, or simply applying pads. All corrective shoeing is
available. |
